County commission Vice Chairman Dave Heil told the Observer replenishing the funds will help the County pay for upcoming proposed projects such as construction expansion and making certain improvements at the Akins Manufacturing facility in Algodones. That project, which will be up for discussion in February, is projected to create 40 new full-time jobs using $800,000 in appropriated funds.
