Tensions going to lie, i think. You are correct. Theres a wide variance in policy and practice across the district. I think the nice thing about the way its being put in this policy is that schools gets to make their own get to have the conversation of the community and come up with whats right for them. Having said that, i think there will still be issues with the individual hat here and there because its something that does get people very upset, but the hope is that the commissioner norton talks about will be avoided when the community has a full discussion about what the expectations in each School Community are.
