Egypt to procure Rolling Airframe Missiles Block 2 Tactical Missiles
According to a press release published by Defense Security Cooperation Agency on February 17, 2021, the State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Egypt of Rolling Airframe Missiles (RAM) Block 2 Tactical Missiles and related equipment for an estimated cost of $197 million. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale today.

According to a press release published on February 16, 2021, ECA GROUP’s UMISAS sonar completed a series of sea trials in the 2nd half of 2020 in preparation of their integration in AUVs and Towed Sonars for the Mine Countermeasures replacement program for the Belgian and Royal Netherlands navies.
