Public Information Officer, Glenn Kerstetter, stated the cause of the fire is under investigation. Two adults were injured and air-lifted to Lehigh Valley Health Network-Burn Center. Kerstetter did not comment on the severity of the injuries. Assisting on scene was Fayette Fire Co, Delaware Township Fire & Rescue Co., Mifflintown Hose Co., and Fayette EMS. Sentinel photo by BRIAN COX The remnants of the truss manufacuring plant destroyed in Tuesday night’s fire at Allensville Planing Mill continue to give off smoke Wednesday morning in Allensville. Fire crews from five counties responded to the blaze and local crews were called back to the scene Wednesday during the day to keep the fire from flaring up once again. ALLENSVILLE A Tuesday night fire destroyed the truss manufacturing plant at Allensville Planing Mill in Allensville, but the store and other buildings within the complex remain operational. Throughout the day Wednesday, fire crews were called back to the scene to keep the still-smoldering remains of the building from flaring up once more.
