Data sourced from technology startup Bulleye Technologies, which tracks traffic flow at over over 400 toll plazas across the country, showed that at 7 pm on Thursday, the waiting time at Aliyapur toll plaza in Kanpur Nagar was 27 minutes.
While the situation was not as bad across several other toll plazas, it still added up to 9-10 minutes, something that FASTags that are now mandatory were supposed to eliminate. For traffic heading towards Gurgaon from Jaipur, the waiting time at the Kheri Dahula toll plaza was over nine minutes.
Similarly, at Vadodara toll plaza in Gujarat, the waiting time was over 10 minutes, while it was just under nine minutes at the Gegal toll plaza in Ajmer.
