Alia Yachts Launches 36m Support Ship PHI Phantom

Part of the Phi Project, PHI Phantom features a striking in-house design with exterior styling by Cor D Rover and naval architecture by Van Oossanen. This sleek, muscular new support ship has been built to cross oceans carrying the tenders and toys that the mothership has no garage to stow. The combination of Alia Yachts’ metalworking skills, striking design by Cor D Rover, and naval architecture by Van Oossanen has culminated in an exciting and all-action addition to the waters. Phantom is destined to support the custom superyacht PHI by Royal Huisman, and reflects many elements of the mothership’s design. 

Heesen Yachts sells in-build motor yacht, Project Gemini

Heesen Yachts have just announced the sale of their 55-metre superyacht, Project Gemini. Arcon Yachts introduced the buyer, and will be supervising the construction of the yacht as project managers. The superyacht is to feature exterior design from Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, while her interior will be penned by Luca Dini Design and Architecture. Project Gemini, model YN 19755, will accommodate as many as 12 guests between her six staterooms, including an 82-metre owner s stateroom to the fore of the main deck, with a private VIP cabin on the bridge deck and the further four cabins situated on the lower deck. The motor yacht features floor-to-ceiling windows and open bulwarks to maximise the flow between interior and exterior spaces.

Moskito, previously known as Project Pollux, the second yacht delivered by the shipyard in 2021. With exterior lines from the boards of Omega Architects, the design features the latest iteration of Van Oossanen’s Fast Displacement Hull Form, designed to improve the vessel s efficiency. Wooden panelled walls are a feature of her staterooms, and the 86-square-metre owners suite has floor-to-ceiling windows and his-and-hers bathrooms. Her aesthetic has been completed in neutral tones, with dark eucalyptus and pale sycamore joinery in the saloon, which compliment the chevron parquet flooring.
