series regularjustin lin, this latest instalment turns everything up to eleventy stupid. with locations ranging from tbilisi, tokyo, london, edinburgh, and outer space. no, really. there is even a sequence that appears to take place in the gap between this world and the next, meaning that if fast 10 will top it, they will have to get the whole cast to drive through a black hole and start racing each other in another dimension. i don t want to die! as for the action, it is high on octane but low on intelligence, merrily dispensing with basic laws of physics, gravity and most and most importantly, drama in search of evermore empty spectacle. i mean, once you have watched vin diesel slingshot his car across a canyon on the end of a piece of string while another car is caught midair by a plane, it is hard to believe any of these characters is in any realjeopardy, especially when one character who died in a previous instalment suddenly turns up miraculously alive because, urgh, twitter. tha
Originally, the series was due to end with Fast 10, but it has recently been confirmed that Fast & Furious 9 will actually be the first entry in the final trilogy of the franchise. Additionally, there is an all-female spin-off in the works (which will see many of the Fast & Furious females return, and joined by some top secret new cast additions), as well as a sequel to Hobbs & Shaw.

On top of directing and co-writing Fast & Furious 9, he has also previously directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth entries, and will be remaining in the director s chair for Fast 10 and Fast 11, too.
