Prof Nair: The programme aims to produce graduates who will pioneer environmentally and socio-economically sustainable fashion. MALAYSIA’s first Bachelor in Fashion Design Technology (Honours) programme will see its students gaining international fashion exposure through the guidance of designers and brands that feature in Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW). Taylor’s University deputy vice-chancellor and chief academic officer Prof Dr Pradeep Nair said KLFW’s network of big fashion names will be part of the programme, sharing their knowledge with these students through projects and providing industry experience. The three-year Bachelor in Fashion Design Technology (Honours) programme by The Design School in Taylor’s University Faculty of Innovation and Technology combines the design and sewing curriculum with technological components in both its learning experience and module contents.
