Govt Accords Sanction To Committees For Monitoring, Auditing Of Oxygen Delivery At Covid Hospitals In Sgr
SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, P K Pole on Wednesday accorded sanction for the constitution of the committees for Monitoring and Auditing of Oxygen delivery systems on a daily basis in Covid 19 hospitals of Srinagar.
According to the order, the committee for each hospital shall have Head or OSD, Member from Administration, Technical Expert, Mechanical Operator and Oxygen Plant Operator.
For SKIMS, Soura the committee is Headed by Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, KAS with other members including member from administration, Dr. Farooq Jan (MS); and Mir Gh. Nabi (Sr. Foreman), Er. Ratan Singh (JE) and Yaseen (Head Operator).

JAMMU/SRINAGAR, Apr 28: With COVID-19 cases rising sharply in the Union Territory, the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and all leading Government hospitals in the Valley are facing acute shortage of Remdesivir, an emerging drug that is being used in treating the patients affected by the virus.
During last five days, the J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL) failed to meet the demand of the GMC Jammu and supplied 317 Remdesivir injections less than the requirement, thus, badly affecting treatment of the COVID positive patients.

Two Youth Injured During Scuffle In Lal Bazar, One Critical
As per officials, the teenagers were injured during a scuffle late Wednesday evening in Lal Bazar area.
“One among them is critical,” the official said, adding that the duo has been shifted to the hospital for treatment
The injured have been identified as Musaib Makdoomi, son of Fayaz Ahmad Makdoomi of Sikhbagh Lal Bazar and Mir Raban, son of Late Rehman Mir of Hazratbal at present Botshah Mohalla Lal Bazar
Musaib as per officials has suffered head injury while Raban has sustained hand injury during the scuffle, adding that both the teenage boys are admitted in Soura hospital.
