Hershey Farm has opened a new cafe at Tanger Outlet Center, its first expansion outside its complex in Ronks.
Hershey Farm Cafe & Bakery occupies a 1,500-square-foot site that previously housed a Subway at the East Lampeter Township shopping center. The cafe sells paninis, soups and salads as well as goods including whoopie pies. The drinks menu includes coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as fruit smoothies.
Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn has its full-service eatery at 240 Hartman Bridge Road, where it also has lodging, retail shops, a bakery and event space. Ed Hershey opened it in 1975 and sold it 21 years later. The complex, which is now owned by Deryl Stoltzfus, Clair Zeager and Brian Ludwig, was later expanded.

Northland s only city, Whangārei, is easy to overlook.
Conveniently located on the route north to the Bay of Islands and other beautiful spots further up the east coast of the peninsula, Whangārei is easy to whizz by but it s so much more than a pass-through destination.
With hilltop and riverside hikes, easy access to beaches, top-notch dining with marina views, and a long-awaited, soon-to-open museum dedicated to Māori art and 20th-century Austro-Kiwi artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, there are good reasons to pause on your trip north. Or to just hang out in Whangārei for a few days.
Fans of culinary shows will be pleased to know Chef Nick Liberato from Bravo s Top Chef Masters, and more recently, Netflix s Restaurants on the Edge, is back home after establishing himself as a culinary force in California.
After traveling the world for his show, the celebrity restaurateur, TV personality and producer moved back to Bucks County to settle down in Newtown with his wife and three daughters.
Next he will open Borscht Belt, a Jewish-style deli restaurant, now under construction in the Stockton Market in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
Borscht Belt is scheduled to open this spring in the small Delaware River river town of Stockton. It will join the list of restaurants with the Liberato seal including his California businesses Calidephia, The Venice Whaler and The Pier House.
Annie Bowler grew up running through her family’s 8-acre orange orchard in Ojai in Ventura County. She recalls tending to her family’s small vegetable garden and helping her late brother, Tom Martin, pour wine at the Paso Robles Wine Festival, which he started in 1983.
