WOY 2021: Special Recognition of Circle of Hope for Promoting Philanthropy Among South Asian Women

INDIA New England News BOSTON During its 18 th annual Woman of the Year awards show that honors 20 Outstanding Women from various fields, INDIA New England News this year will bestow a special recognition to Circle of Hope, an affiliate of American India Foundation. Circle of Hope promotes philanthropy among women across the United States. Circle of Hope was co-founded by Bostonians Nirmala Garimella and Farida Kathawalla. It’s lead volunteer program and communications lead is Alankrita Narang. Other members include: Nalini Sharma, Pratima Srinivasan, Namita Krishnan, Preetha Chally, Sangita Thakore, Sharda Kaul, Maeghan Oberoi, Anu Chitrapu, Mona Godbole, Neeru Oberoi, Tanuja Sud, Vibhu Nagral, Deepa Acharya, Mithu Bhargava, Asha Shah, Sabera Shah, Meena Subramanyam, Dr Madhavi Reddy, Farhat Rangwalla, Manisha Eckton, Asha Patel and Veena Handa.

18th Annual Woman of the Year Awards Goes Virtual on March 6, 2021

INDIA New England News th Annual Woman of the Year Awards event will be held virtually on March 6, 2021. “We postponed our Woman of the Year Awards Gala twice last year due to COVID, and it was re-scheduled for April 30th this year. Our hotel, however, informed us again that they will not be able to hold the event in April either,” said Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England News and producer of the Woman of the Year Awards. “COVID-19 can hinder our efforts, but it cannot beat our spirit. We’re going to make Woman of the Year an exciting event on March 6.”
