BAGHDAD, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) In what used to be a wasteland in the southern Iraqi province of Maysan, a super-giant oil field, along with a vibrant town, has been built from scratch by PetroChina, one of the first Chinese companies that participated in the post-war reconstruction of Iraq.

GUANGZHOU, March 12 (Xinhua) A digital exhibition on the works of Raffaello Sanzio, also dubbed Renaissance master, kicked off Thursday in Guangzhou, capital of south China s Guangdong Province.
Titled The Art of Raffaello: Opera Omnia, the exhibition is jointly organized by the Guangzhou Library and the Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou. Life-size reproductions of 36 creations by the Italian artist are on display in high definition at the event.
The creations embody different phases of Raffaello s artistic endeavor, ranging from Madonna and Child, one of his very first paintings, to The Transfiguration, on which he was working during the last days of his life.
