top of the hour. a busy wednesday morning. we begin with breaking news this morning. cnn has learned that the fbi conducted a search at president biden s home in rehoboth beach, delaware. the search taking place this morning as a special counsel investigation into the president s handling of classified material picks up. mj lee is at the white house. paula, what more can you tell us about this search. was it expected? sfwlr it was absolutely expected. back when the classified documents were discovered in the office, his attorneys went and also searched his two homes. one in will mington. they say they did discover classified materials at his wilmington home, but they did not uncover any at this property. once this baim the subject of a special counsel investigation, ten days ago the fbi conducted its own search of the wilmington house. it lasted 13 hours and did uncover additional classified materials. so it was very much expected that the fbi would also go back to the reho
bolduan starts right now. hello, everyone. at this hour we ll begin with breaking news, the fbi is searching president biden s home in rehoboth beach, delaware right now. this is part of the ongoing investigation into his handling of classified documents. biden s attorney put out a statement saying the search was planned in advance and that the president is cooperating. today s search now makes it the third known location that federal agents is gone through to look for classified material at the properties associated with president biden. paula reid is joining us with much more. this all started really unfolding just a little while ago. what are you learning? reporter: that s right. pool cameras captured the federal agents. and we had very much sxelgtsed t expected that there would be a search of that property. and it is in cooperation with the president s attorneys. but to explain why we expected this, let s go back to the beginning of the situation. they uncovered class
