On Thursday, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the list of Hall of Famers scheduled to present the Class of 2020 at the Enshrinement Ceremony to be held Saturday, May 15, at Mohegan Sun Arena.
More than 50 Hall of Famers are expected to be in attendance for the ceremony, including all presenters.

The SJC Boxing Club, Inc will be celebrating 32 years in Fort Myers on Saturday March 20, 2021 from 12-5pm. Boxers and special guests from around the country will be attending, along with many others who have had the opportunity of participating in our program throughout the years. There will be free refreshments, grilled hamburgers, and hotdogs, etc. for all. A tour of the newly opened Florida Boxing Hall of Fame Museum (located in the same building as the new SJC Boxing Gym) will be a highlight. The Museum will soon be listed and promoted as a Florida State Tourist Attraction.
FAME Inc. to open 2nd cohort in workforce development class

Following the success of its first cohort, FAME Inc. will host another group of students in its Aligning Meaningful Employment 302 Finance Course, which gives students the skills necessary to enter the finance industry.
This is a workforce development class with a focus on finance that begins in April. Students will learn skills, including customer service, financial literacy and workplace skills, as well as obtaining industry-recognized certifications in several categories. This year s program is completely virtual and will feature local industry partners.

The board allocated grants from donor-designated and agency funds. Agency Funds are established by charitable organizations and can be endowed or non-endowed. The agency benefits from the Foundation’s professional asset management, which allows the agency’s staff and board to focus on providing services to their constituents.
Designated Funds provide annual support to the charities selected by the donor. They offer the added benefit that if the organization ceases to exist; the Foundation has the responsibility to ensure that the donor s original intent is met in seeking new suitable organizations.

FAME Inc., Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance to hold virtual STEM forum in March

FAME Inc. and the Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance are partnering to present “Catalyzing Change: From Curriculum to Career,” a full-day virtual STEM forum set for 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 17.
The virtual forum is designed to bring together students of all ages, educators and industry to showcase the region’s science, technology, engineering and math opportunities and resources, and to discuss current and future talent skills and needs.
