Ahead of Batwoman's upcoming season two premiere on The CW, new lead Javicia Leslie opens up on what we can expect from Ryan Wilder and whether she ever reached out to former Caped Crusader, Ruby Rose.
In just a few weeks, Javicia Leslie will officially make her
Arrowverse debut as Ryan Wilder and succeed Ruby Rose as The CW’s new
Batwoman. But before she can have her own adventures, Ryan will have to tie up some loose ends from last season. Namely, she’ll come face to face with Tommy Elliot/Hush, who is back in Gotham City and wearing Bruce Wayne’s face.
The CW (via TVLine) has released the official synopsis for
Batwoman’s season 2 premiere, titled “What Happened to Kate Kane?” The episode will begin to address how the producers are handling Rose’s character following her sudden departure from the series earlier this year. Read the description for yourself below.

Batwoman returns to The CW on January 17th, and the network has now released a new synopsis (and a handful of stills), which come accompanied by a poster shared by Gotham City s new Caped Crusader, Javicia Leslie. It seems likely we ll get a new trailer soon, especially as the network will have to convince a lot of viewers to return to the show now that Ruby Rose s Kate Kane has been replaced.
