So you can see it is jammed as folks are trying to get on 266 westbound there. And as chopper 4 pulls out you can see the volume already building here. Beltway at branch avenue everything rolling along nicely there. But again, you can see a little bit of a sheen on the roadway as amelia has been telling us about some precipitation here for us this morning. Silver and orange line delays in both directions. Reports say officers fired at that suv. One of the men inside died. The nsa says that mans cause of death is yet to be determined. An nsa Police Officer was also injured, and that officer and the surviving person inside the unauthorized vehicle were take on the a nearby hospital. Sources tell news4 the suv was from the baltimore area. Anne Arundel County Police tell us they were not pursuing the vehicle involved and had no lookouts for any such vehicle before this happened. A gun and drugs were found in the suv according to authorities. The fbis Baltimore Field Office has taken the lead in the investigation and they reported that the threat was quickly contained to the area around the gate just off the baltimorewashington parkway. Nsa. Molette green is there live. Reporter the Associated Press just reporting that one person has died in what it is describing as a gate crashing incident. This at the fort meade facility. At the gate of the nsa this morning. All of this happening during a confrontation between a guard and two men. Two men, we understand who were dressed as women attempting to enter the facility. Youre looking at live pictures right now of chopper 4 over the scene. All of this led to an exchange of gunfire. Again, both of the men, the suspects involved were shot. We also have video of a uniformed man being loaded into an ambulance from the scene. We dont have any condition on the injured but, again, Associated Press reporting that one person has died in this incident. Again, nbc news has been able to confirm what happened here.
