SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) Nearly one year after the first person in Santa Clara County was diagnosed with COVID-19, officials say the county hit 100,000 cases this week, marking a milestone that no one wanted to see. It s really hard to see that whole pandemic and the whole situation, said Noushin Zojaji, a San Jose senior who stopped by the county fairgrounds Friday morning to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. I was scared and really anxious, but after I got it, it was really good. No pain, and I hope the result is going to be good.
