An affiliate of St. Paul, Minnesota-based Presbyterian Homes & Services has closed on $38.7 million in financing for its planned 120-unit senior living community in Muskego.
Two carjackings at gunpoint on Wednesday one in Germantown and one in Hales Corners are thought to be related, police said.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m., Germantown Police responded to a call that a black BMW sedan was stolen at gunpoint at Fairway Knoll, a senior living community at N112 W17500 Mequon Road.
The victim told police he was approached while he was in his parked car preparing to leave the facility. A man pointed a black handgun at his head and demanded his wallet and keys, according to a news release from the Germantown Police Department.
Another man approached the vehicle and pulled the victim out of the car and to the ground, police said.

Officials say shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a 911 call was received from a subject reporting that his 2021 Black BMW sedan had been stolen at gunpoint.
The victim was approached by an unknown subject in the parking lot as he was preparing to leave. Officials say the suspect displayed a black handgun and pointed the gun at the victim s head demanding his wallet and keys.
Officials describe the suspect as a Black male wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
