Thunderstorm warning that is now extended into Delaware County parts of philadelphia New Castle County and into parts of south jersey. Its all because of this line of storms coming in from the west. Some of these are producing not only heavy wind gusts downpours but also lots of lightning and if we go in closer, storm tracker6 live double scan is tracking this one as it heads in towards Chester County out of lancaster county, areas of Chester County already being hit with heavy downpours, lots of lightning, 37 strikes in the last couple minutes and that white lightning bolt there is a live one. Chatham will get this about 4 31 avondale 4 34. Down towards kaolin 4 38 in Chester County, Kennett Square 4 39 hockessin 4 40. York wood between now and 4 42. Youre encouraged to take cover indoors inside, because of all the frequent lightning. Diminishing in intensity a little bit. We do however have strong storms coming into the west of baltimore. These are all really cooking towards the east. This one Still Producing some warnings and well have to keep an eye on that as it pushes towards the east and closer to our neck of the woods. The dying thunderstorm we have right now is Still Producing some heavy downpours and some gusty winds briefly ahead of it. The lightning is beginning to become less of a threat.
