Father, daughter in critical condition after house fire in Katy area

Firefighters rescued a man and his adult daughter from a burning house in the Katy area.
KATY, Texas - A father and daughter were taken to the hospital in critical condition after firefighters rescued them from a burning home in the Katy area, officials say.
The Cy-Fair Fire Department arrived at a house fire in the 21000 block of Wellsford Glen Drive around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday. Fire was coming from the home s garage.
The fire department says one woman was already outside of the home, but firefighters learned two other people were still inside.

KATY, Texas (KTRK) Cy-Fair firefighters rescued two people from a house fire overnight after a father was desperately trying to save his family, and the entire rescue was caught on helmet camera video.
Northwest Harris County neighbors noticed a garage fire at a home in the 21500 block of Wellsford Glen Dr. before 11 p.m. Wednesday and called 911.

Crews were alerted to the apartment fire in the 6400 block of York Meadows on Sunday evening, according to the Cy-Fair Fire Department.
Firefighters worked to put out the flames and smoke that was coming from the roof of the building, authorities said.

Firefighter injured battling 1-alarm fire in NW Houston

HOUSTON - One firefighter was taken to the hospital with minor burns to his hands as crews were battling a 1-alarm fire in northwest Houston on Sunday.
According to Captain Arizpe with the Cy-Fair Fire Department, the fire was located on the 6700 block of Satsuma Drive.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene where the fire was contained to a home attached to a warehouse.
