A free health camp on the theme, “Malnutrition in Females”, was held at the Department of Amraz-e-Niswan-wa-Atfal, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, marking the international women’s day.
A good number of patients attended the camp and received special guidelines for nutritional support. At the camp, patients were also provided information regarding the Prime Minister’s “Fit India” campaign.
A guest lecture was also delivered by Prof Asmer Beg (Department of Political Science) on “Women Empowerment: Need of the time”. More than 90 students and faculty members, including Chairperson, Prof Suboohi Mustafa attended the lecture.
Dr Fahmeeda Zeenat conducted the programme while Dr M Anas proposed a vote of thanks.
