The girls are athletes so for that to be possibly taken away from us, we were devastated. It alarmed School Board Member ray valverde. Dont cut Something Else that has been successful in that district for years. They allow up to 30 girls but usually theyre not that big at all. Theyre usually around 20 so less girls would be able to be on the team. A wrongway driver colliding with a car full of people just after midnight. They believe a single driver was going south in the northbound lane before hitting the car with four people inside. All five people died in the wreck. We are told they were young adults from massachusetts. A wrong way operator. The vehicle struck the northbound vehicle headon. The crash impact caused the northbound vehicle to become engulfed in fire. There is no indication that time allowed for evasive action by the northbound Motor Vehicle operator. To avoid the vehicle traveling the wrong way. Reporter investigators are still searching for reasons as to why this person got on the high tway wrong way. They are also still trying to reach the families of those involved. I like to express our condolences and sadness to the families of the five young last night. The warehouse known as the go ship on international boulevard a couple blocks from the fruitvale our station. Sheriff deputies say in a Electronic Music Party was going on in the second floor of the warehouse. Anywhere from 50 to 100 people were there. A fires started at some point, we dont know how long but it caused the roof to cause a fire on the second floor and then it collapsed on the first floor. Nine people have died two dozen additional people still missing tonight. The bodies of the nine victims have been transported to the Coroners Office. The process of identifying those nine victims has just wrapped up. Families tonight are being notified. The people who died last night, mostly in their 20s, young adults no minors, deputies say they will be working or over the next 40 hours to recover the other bodies that are trapped in the debris.
