Country-folk practitioner Jess Williamson’s road to her fourth album, Time Ain’t Accidental, has been anything but conventional. Born in the Dallas suburbs, she hightailed to Austin after high school to study photography at the University of Texas. She’d always been a as she puts it “singing kid” growing up, but there wasn’t a clear path to a music career set out for her in those formative years.
