The Business Travel Association (BTA) has announced the appointment of Andrew Clarke as interim strategic director.
Clarke will assist in steering the strategic direction of the association for 2022 and beyond, while overseeing the evolution and future vision of partnership engagement.
Clarke will also plan and execute the BTA’s move to a virtual organisation by managing content programmes for members and partners and helping to deliver a BTA conference in September 2021.
Clarke was most recently the senior director of customer success at Expedia Group’s Egencia, helping businesses optimise travel programmes to control risk, support traveller wellbeing and maximize return on investment. He covered a number of roles for over 14 years and was part of Egencia’s UK leadership team.
