BACOLOD CITY - The city government here is set to receive a lot donation of 3.5 hectares in Barangay Vista Alegre to become the site of a medical complex that will include the Bacolod City General Hospital and new City Health Office building. Mayor Evelio Leonardia on Monday said he has been granted by the City Council the authority to sign a memorandum of agreement with the donors, the Gensoli family. "Allow me to reiterate my heartfelt thanks (to them) for this generous gesture and unwavering commitment to serve their community. We cannot overemphasize our sincerest gratitude for their civic-mindedness," he said in a statement.
