“Creativity is the process of using imagination and critical thinking to generate new ideas that have value.” So began an inspirational presentation by Cindy Foley, Executive Deputy Director at Columbus Museum of Art at the recent Creative Ohio Advocacy Summit organized and convened by Ohio Citizens for the Arts; Ms. Foley, who leads the museum’s Education Department, strongly believes creativity is not only an essential ingredient to producing art but also to progress throughout society and the world.

Extension of Partnership with HelloFresh for Veterans
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced the extension of a partnership between the State of New York and leading meal kit company, HelloFresh, focused on delivering free meal kits to Veterans and military families in New York City who are presently confronting food insecurity. Since establishing this partnership in July 2020, HelloFresh has provided more than 200,000 nutritious meals to Veterans and military families in New York City who are facing food insecurity due to COVID-19. Now, New York and HelloFresh are extending this collaboration through the second quarter of 2021, ensuring that Veterans and military families in New York City will continue to receive these nourishing meals throughout the challenging months ahead. An external candidate, Elizabeth Schaffer has been the interim Chief Financial Officer at Amnesty International USA since 2019. Since 1993 she has worked as a Consultant, Coach and Trainer.
