obviously someone said to stephen sondheim, i don t know the story. stephen, i think this is a bit harsh. and he changed it to puerto rico. my heart s devotion let it sink back in the ocean, because that s how anita feels. yeah. with west side story viewing the adaptation for 2021 as well, and you exec produce that, what was that like? oh, that was so wonderful. what a lovely experience, first of all. steven spielberg has always been a favourite director of mine. i didn t know him, but ijust loved his work. it has such breadth. and then i spoke to him, and he was friendly and we chatted and chattered. and then he said, you know, i know you know that i m making this the redo, the reimagining, he called it. and i d like very much for you to be a part of this, and i m hoping you ll say yes.
