After taking a decision to postpone the class 10 and 12 board exams in Madhya Pradesh, the MP school education department on Friday (April 16) cancelled the exams for classes 9 and 11.
Students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessments, reported ANI.
A notice issued by the department said that exam results will be declared on April 30 on the basis of half-yearly exams. The result class 9 and 11 will be calculated on the basis of best-5. If a student has has passed in 5 out of 6 subjects and even a minimum of 33 marks is not scored in 1 subject, the will still be declared a pass, reported TOI.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Monday (March 8) released the revised date sheet for the ICSE and ISC 2021 examinations on its official website www.cisce.org.
Here is the direct link for the revised date sheet for ISCE and ISE 2021 exams.
As per the revised schedule, no examination will be held for ISCE (Class 10) on May 13 and May 15 while for ISC (Class 12) no examination will be conducted on May 13, May 15 and June 12.
