April Fools Day is back! After the annual global day of pranks was mostly canceled in light of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, big brands are back at it this year, with their usual goofy (and fake) product announcements and other hijinks.
One company not getting in on the fun? Google. The search engine giant told employees in an internal email that it would not create a series of elaborate pranks this year. It’s the second year in a row the company has skipped the holiday.
