A building collapsed in Shahpura area under which one labourer Ramnarayan (65) had died and two others sustained injuries, said the Shahpura police, on Wednesday evening.
Rs 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the tragedy in Morbi. The injured would be given Rs 50,000, the PMOIndia tweeted.
According to the fire department, the death toll could rise to 30 as charred remains were found in the building during cooling operations on Saturday morning.
An outer time limit of 60 days will be applicable from March 24 to file the claims for compensation in case the death occurred due to Covid1 prior to March 20, said the ministry.
