He says the decision to retire is voluntary, and that his last day will be on June 1 which will mark 44 years in law enforcement. Craig has not confirmed whether or not he intends to run for office, but sources say he is considering running for Michigan governor in the next gubernatorial election as a Republican.

That they’re paying attention to the rules, that we are not heavy on giving tickets as much as we are going to be warning those boaters that are on the line of doing some of those things that we don’t like to see them do,” sheriff Raphael Washington said.
