On a cold, grey afternoon in early March, Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt are dressed for wintry weather. There is, however, much to look forward to, with the imminent return of their band, Everything But The Girl, after 24 years in hibernation, and the conversation is thoughtful, bright and optimistic.
Paul and Carolyn return for another instalment of the Sunday Escape this, which means the latest foray into the best in music. This week that includes new tracks from Conchúr White, bar italia, Miles Kane, Sarah Kinsley, BC Camplight, and CMAT, along with the debut single from The Last Dinner Party plus music from the eagerly awaited new album from Everything But The Girl. Joining the Pop Fugitives in the studio is Hong Kong singer-songwriter Joya, who ll be talking about her influences as well as picking a few songs to play.
