On Day 1A in the $3,500 buy-in event, 1,047 players registered, creating a $3,350,400 prize pool, far exceeding the tournament’s $2 million guarantee. And that was before accounting for Day 1B, which ended up with 1,436 entries, adding another $4,588,800, bringing the overall pot to $7,939,200, nearly four times the guarantee.
