A small band of volunteers threw on their work boots and old clothes Saturday and spent half the day tending to the final resting places of some former Rogue Valley residents who “reside” at the histo.
The Mountain Home High School softball team had a rough outing at home on Friday falling to Greene County Tech 6-4. Georgia Burnham led the Lady Bombers by going two-for-three with a solo home run, a double and a walk, and Lauren Loving was two-for-four with an RBI. Mountain Home drops to 10-4 on the season.
Mountain Home fared better in the junior varsity game. The JV Lady Bombers were down to their last out, when Emma Crabb hit a walk-off two-run triple for a 4-3 win over Tech. Emma Crabb was one-for-two with two RBIs, Josie Kelly went two-for-two, and Tori Robb and Olivia Crabb each went one-for-two.
