Muttahida Ulema Board endorses PM’s statement on ‘Hijab’

LAHORE: The Muttahida Ulema Board, Punjab, and leaderships of different religious and political organisations have endorsed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement on ‘Hijab’ and women s clothing, saying the views are in accordance with the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
The Ulema-Mashaikh of different religious groups and sects agreed upon that the teachings of Islam forbid both men and women from indecency and nudity by debarring them to use inappropriate cloaks or outfits.
