LINCOLN COUNTY - Evacuation Notices are in effect for Nogal Canyon, Bonito Canyon, and the Ski Apache Area after a wildfire was reported on the morning of Monday, April 26, 2021.
The Three Rivers Fire is located 1/2 a mile above Three Rivers Campground on the backside of the White Mountains of the Smokey Bear Ranger District.
Smoke is highly visible from Highway 54. The fire is currently 30 acres. Fire personnel will use a combination of tactics from the air and ground to fully suppress the fire. The weather today is expected to be windy, with 20+ mph gusts from the southwest. Temperatures will be in the low 80s, with humidity levels in the single digits.
