Spike Strips Used To Stop Terrebonne Man
A Terrebonne man was taken into custody early this morning after authorities used spike strips to stop his vehicle. Christopher Eugene Crawford, 30, is charged with attempting to elude, reckless driving, and other charges.
According to the report, deputies were in the Crooked River Ranch area around 12:23 this morning when a 1996 silver Acura slowly drove past them. A deputy believed this vehicle was related to another case and attempted to stop the passenger car, but the driver refused to stop leading the deputies on a pursuit.
A Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy deployed spike strips in the area of Badger and SW Quail Roads, but the Crawford made a U-turn and avoided the spike strips. A DCSO deputy was set up in the area of SW Quail and SW River Road with spike strips. The suspect drove by his location and both passenger side tires struck the spike strips. LAREDO, Texas (WBTV) - Border Patrol agents seized $24 million worth of meth at the World Trade Bridge in Texas.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer seized 28 containers filled with 1,234 pounds of meth at World Trade Bridge on March 3.
CBP officers assigned to the cargo facility encountered a tractor manifesting a shipment of acrylic paint arriving from Mexico.
I would imagine 24 million dollars worth of meth would be a couple weeks or months worth of seizures. Not one shipment.

Upon further inspection of this so called paint , a scan determined that something else was in the buckets.
