He played his first season on the varsity football team his junior year, rushing for 12 touchdowns and passing for 16.
Reed earned all-division honors, was named to the Elite 24 all-star team, and was named third-team all-state after his junior season.
With no football this past fall, Reed said the recruitment process was difficult but when he heard from New Haven, he knew it was the right fit. Having the opportunity to finally find a school that was the right fit for me, is definitely a sigh of relief, said Reed. With everything going on it was really a hard struggle to find what school to go to. Finding the visits finding the opportunity to find the college and coaches and everything I ve been looking for. I found it, and I m so grateful.

Nate Ormond, founder of Well States Healthcare, said the current board isn t showing leadership. Six months ago, I couldn t even tell you the name of the superintendent, Ormond said. I couldn t tell you the names of any of the folks on the board.
