Many are people of color who are increasingly being pushed out. And, so, we have a lot of work to do to make sure the city is welcoming for all of our seniors and people with disabilities and we really look forward to working with all of you to make that a reality. And we hope to see many of you there thursday night with us. As supervisor mar said, its our annual celebration, celebrating our first full year as senior and disability action. W

Million people. Gives them a tax credit, gives them greater choice. And one of the issues that i have with a of the lot of models i see around is they are very static. They talk about this piece of the this prong only. I think when you look at the subsidy and the cost of a current plan right now, without looking at prong two and three and how those were additionally drive down costs, then it is a not a fair analysis of where the plan is going. But there is no question that right now there is, you know d you know, i detailed it to jim. I mean, we have a system that mandates that people buy Health Insurance under penalty of law and its not working. So the question is, what can we do instead, and what can we replace that with that gives people greater choice and lower costs . I think in most cases of course some people are going to choose in a free society to not purchase something. We live in country of 320 Million People. At some point you cant force a product or a good down the throats
President is talking about using Political Capital to get something done. He suggests theres a willingness to do that in both parties, something with background checks. He said theres not a Movement Toward banning of certain weapons like assaultstyle weapons. If we look at President Trumps history he has done that in the wake of parkland shooting especially when he was in the room with survivors and parents of victims. He had also done it as a civilian in his prepolitical life and then it doesnt come to pass. We saw after parkland once the nra influence intervened, the president s public statements sort of dissipated. We did see after the Las Vegas Shooting the president did act on the issue of bump stocks, able to alter the weapon used in that carnage. He did take action on that issue. What were told by the Washington Post, weve made inquiries at the white house, weve not gotten a response from the white house officials yet, there was a tuesday phone call from Wayne Lapierre with the
