Brigadier Jap Burger was named by former Eskom CEO, Andre de Ruyter, as the police officer to whom he reported findings of a covert intelligence-gathering exercise at the power utility.
The Standing Committee on Public Accounts agreed that brigadier Jap Burger would be given seven working days to respond to its latest request - to testify about maladministration and corruption claims made by De Ruyter shortly before his departure.
