We want them to have a plan to put into place like the plans the local Public Safety is creating so that their plan the day this occurs is not just call 911. Reporter parts of mill valley are considered to be in tier three, areas with the most extreme risk while power has not been shut off there yet, mill valley fire chief tom welch believes its almost inevitable it will happen. Typically the Power Outages come with a high fire danger. We get those days about eight to ten to 12 days out of year, red flag warnings and so i do anticipate they will be shutting the power off. Reporter Curtis Briggs says there is no risk putting his client on the stand. We think the jury will be were very receptive. Reporter max harris testified today he told Oakland Police during one of the visits that no one lived at the warehouse. Heres what we know. A hazmat crew is on the scene. One witness tells us it sounded like a car crash. We heard a big explosion and shook the house and we thought that it was a car that crashed into the house or another car or something, and we came outside and somebody came running out of the house yelling, its bad, its bad. Call 91 1. Okay. An explosion, no fire, but this is in union city. Two people were rushed to nearby hospitals. One of them to the local burn unit. No word on what caused this explosion.
