I felt this was a bail motion that had merit because Derick Almena never intended to hurt anybody. At night before fridays hearing Derick Almenas wife and friends gathered to light candles, incense and meditate hoping to send him good energy. Allison showed up in court to support her husband. It is really important for me for people to know that there are people all over the world praying for our family. And that they want to see him come home to his children. For families of the ghost ship victims who will never come home, they say they are pleased to Derick Almena will face trial again. I will feel stronger when the next trial begins and i will be there as an advocate for my daughter and that is important to me. Today the judge held two former ghost ship jurors in content contempt for misconduct. Next year a whole new jury will have to be picked. A whole new jury that has no idea about anything that happened with this trial which might be difficult. I am curious though, 10 of the 12
We begin near caldecott tunnel with pg e and caltrans are hooking up generators to keep the tunnels open. No one wants to see those tunnels close. It certainly would, frank. This is a key area for the bay area, east bay transit. We understand they made the decision late tonight to supply the generators so that the four boards could remain open. Elsewhere the Power Outages are expected to have a huge impact on the businesses and water supply. Caltrans says the caldecott tunnel cannot on the operate safely without power. They have agreed to bring in four generators to keep the critical artery open. The tunnels have large fans to circulate to make sure the exhaust from the out reporter pg e plans to shut down power in some areas at noon. That could have an impact on some stations. Some may need to conserve water so there is enough for fire hydrants. We want to preserve the water supply. Well be asking people to conserve water and then ask them to shut off irrigation.
