New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked the Central Pollution Control Board to conduct scientific studies and obtain data on the pollution caused by stone crushing units and state if they require prior environmental clearance to operate.

JSW Utkal Steel has acquired 2,677.80 acres of forest land in Jagatsinghpur, Odisha, for a 13.2 million tonne integrated steel plant.
