Thrissur/Kottayam/Kollam: Just after the morning mass on Good Friday, the vicar of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Pattikkad, of the Thrissur diocese, had a surprise visitor. It was the Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate and government chief whip, K. Rajan. The purpose of his visit was simply to meet the priest in person and they talked for a good half an hour.Â
