, Chair of the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, reflects on the Society’s progress six months since it issued its to tackle racial inequality.
On 10 June 2020, the Royal Aeronautical Society’s Chief Executive, President and I issued a statement on the Black Lives Matter movement setting out how the Society could use its channels to enact positive change and address racial inequality, both within the Society and across the Aviation and Aerospace sectors. In that statement, we committed ourselves to a number of actions and I wanted to take this opportunity to provide an update on progress.
