Guest well, its pretty broad and its a long book but it covers a lot of stevenson generations. And it also focuses on the most important, in some ways, of all the stevensons. And thats Adlai Ewing Stevenson ii, who lived from 1900 to 1965 and, of course, was the losing democratic president ial candidate in 1952 and 1956. It took me a long time to do and i really was trying hard to look at layers of stevensons and different views of family life, etc. , and not only do just a political biography of some of the best known stevensons.
