Agents Aid 11-Year-Old Boy Suffering Heat-Related Illness

YUMA, Ariz. – Wellton Border Patrol agents intercepted a group of five migrants in the desert Tuesday morning and found themselves in the middle of a rescue when an 11-year-old boy in the group lost consciousness.
At approximately 10:15 a.m., agents apprehended the group near the Tinajas Altas Mountains, approximately 35 miles southeast of Yuma, after they illegally crossed the border into the United States. The group consisted of two adult females and their respective children, who were three, six and 11 years old.
Agents transported a group of migrants, including an 11-year-old, who lost consciousness to EMS after encountering them.

Champion spearfisher Ian Warnock, of Flaxmill Bay near Whitianga, began diving the area in the mid-1970s.
He says since the late 1990s the numbers have risen to now regular sightings most dives. Every year there s more and more of them. I think it s one of those things that if you re going to go out spearfishing and diving you have to accept that, it s not going to get better.
