A woman âspat bloodâ in the face of a police officer then threw a blood-soaked cloth into the face of another as they were trying to help her.
Lucy Eden, 45, was spotted sitting on the street surrounded by strewn shopping bags when officers approached her and asked if she needed help. They noticed she had blood dripping from her nose so gave her a wipe to clean herself, Manchester Magistrates Court heard.
