WATCH MATCH VS. BOSTON COLLEGE WATCH MATCH VS. SYRACUSE WEEKEND NOTES TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – The Florida State Volleyball team looks to continue its consistent play when it hosts Boston College and Syracuse this Halloween weekend on Friday and Sunday, respectively, at Tully Gym. Friday night’s match vs. the Eagles (13-11, 3-7) is Super Sophomore Night at 6:30 p.m. The event will be dedicated to FSU’s lone sophomore on the team, right-side hitter Sydney Conley, who is an avid superhero fan. There will be a fan giveaway prize raffle at the marketing table as well as pom-pom and poster giveaways.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – The Florida State Volleyball team wrapped up back-to-back road sweeps on Sunday as it took down Wake Forest, 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-19), at Reynolds Gym.
The victory by the Seminoles (14-5, 7-3) comes after sweeping Virginia Tech on the road on Friday.
“I've never been more proud of a team,” FSU Head Coach Chris Poole said. “Most of the players on the team have been trying to fight off illness. We could have laid down and given up with the way they were feeling, but they fought through the adversity. Simply an amazing effort by every player over the weekend. This is a special group of young ladies.”

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Volleyball Head Coach Chris Poole reached his milestone 200th ACC win in resounding fashion as the Seminoles swept Virginia Tech, 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-14), on Friday night at Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Va.
Poole achieved his 200th ACC win in record form, becoming the fastest coach ever to reach the milestone in terms of matches coached. His 200th ACC victory comes in his 256th match coached in conference play, besting the previous fastest mark of 267 matches coached by Duke’s Jolene Nagel.

WATCH AT VIRGINIA TECH WATCH AT WAKE FOREST WEEKEND NOTES
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Two more critical road matches await Florida State Volleyball this weekend, beginning with a 6 p.m. match at Virginia Tech on Friday on ACC Network Extra. FSU finishes at Wake Forest on Sunday at 1 p.m., which also airs on ACCNX.
The Seminoles (12-5, 5-3) are tied for fifth in the ACC with NC State and Notre Dame as they approach the halfway point of the conference season. FSU was projected fifth in the ACC pre-season order of finish despite having its youngest roster since 1999.
Head Coach Chris Poole looks to make history as the fastest coach ever to reach 200 ACC wins. He enters Friday’s match at Virginia Tech with a 199-56 record in ACC play, and can clinch his 200th win in his 256th match coached in conference play. The current record holder is Duke head coach Jolene Nagel, who crossed 200 wins in her 267th ACC match.
