As a person of faith, and specifically as a pastor for nearly 20 years, I help counsel and support people in their most joyous times – as well as in their most devastating moments. That’s why a bill now in front of the NH Legislature has captured my attention.
As a pastor, and a former children’s hospital and hospice chaplain, I’ve been with a number of families while their loved ones died. Unfortunately, this has also included newborn babies. These are moments in my career that are so difficult and heartbreaking, but it is my honor to be a trusted source of comfort and care for these families.
